MacPhail, Fiona

Professor of Economics at the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada. Her research centers on globalization, gender and labour, particularly in Asia and Canada. Current research projects include globalization in northern British Columbia, technological upgrading of Chinese exports, and gender gaps in productive and decent work in Cambodia and the Philippines. Her research has been published in journals such as World Development, Feminist Economics, Comparative Labor Law & Policy Journal, International Review of Applied Economics, and the Journal of Business Ethics.
