Gallegati, Marco

Received his PhD in Economics in 1997 from the University of Ancona. He is currently Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Marche. His main research interests concern business cycles and long waves analysis, the role of financial factors in economic fluctuations and the empirical applications of wavelet analysis in economics and finance. He has published many empirical papers in international journals in economics and statistics and a book on wavelet applications in economics and finance.
